Untuk seorang web designer, code editor merupakan salah satu software yang penting untuk menulis code. Adalah mustahil seseorang itu akan menggunakan Notepad sahaja untuk menulis code dia. Dan kebanyakan kita akan memilih Adobe Dreamweaver. Ok, terpulang pada individu tu, cuma kalau korang nak tau, ada beberapa code editor yang FREE a.k.a. PERCUMA yang korang boleh gunakan. Ni nak habaq bagi kat hangpa nih!

1. PSPad
   

   PSPad – editor for developers for Microsoft Windows systems. The universal freeware editor, useful for people who:
   - work with plain text – the editor has a wealth of formatting functions, including a spell checker
   - create web pages – as a web authoring editor, PSPad contains many unique tools that save your time
   - want to use a good IDE for their compiler – PSPad catches and parses compiler output, integrates external help files, compares versions and much more…

2. Notepad++
   

   Notepad++ is a free (as in “free speech” and also as in “free beer”) source code editor and Notepad replacement that supports several languages. Running in the MS Windows environment, its use is governed by GPL Licence.

3. Maguma Open Studio
   

   A PHP IDE that includes features for class browsing, ftp support, snippets, debugging and project management. The Open Source version of Maguma Studio.

4. tsWebEditor
   

   tsWebEditor is a powerful php editor and html editor which you can also use as a simple text editor. It displays the source code colored (syntax highlight), parameter hint for functions, code completion (php, javascript, asp, html), code browser, php syntax and error check, help, css assistant, html tag editor, html syntax checker, etc.

Sebenarnya, ada banyak lagi code editor yang boleh kita gunakan, contohnya macam nVu dan PHPEclipse. Tapi masa aku tulis artikel ni, website diorang tak boleh access tu sebab aku tak masukkan dalam senarai. Okeh! Selamat mencuba.
